Chad Valley Hovercraft // Review

Chad Valley Hovercraft

I recently announced that Cameron, Lucas and I were lucky to be invited to be on the Chad Valley Play Panel this year.

As part of the Play Panel, Cameron and Lucas get to review toys from the Chad Valley range. The first toy we were sent was the Chad Valley Hovercraft.

Cameron was very excited to play with the Hovercraft because I haven’t bought him fighting/military toys before. There is no particular reason for this, Cameron was always just interested in other toys.

The Chad Valley Hovercraft is a plastic toy made up of two parts. The Hovercraft itself and the Tank that sits on the Hovercraft.

You can remove the Tank from the Hovercraft by lowering the ramp at the front of the Hovercraft.

Chad Valley Hovercraft Comes With:

The Chad Valley Hovercraft comes with many accessories, including:

  • Four foam darts which you can fire from the guns/cannons on the side of the Hovercraft.
  • Two detailed military figures with movable limbs.
  • Plastic Accessories – Guns, Grenades and Binoculars.
  • Stickers to decorate the Hovercraft and tank.

In addition to the above accessories, you can also make the Hovercraft it light up and the propellers at the back spin. This requires 3x AAA batteries. The batteries are not included with the Hovercraft, so if you are thinking of buying this, please make sure you purchase batteries.

What Did We Think Of The Chad Valley Hovercraft?

As mentioned before, the Hovercraft is made of plastic, but it is a strong plastic therefore very durable. This Hovercraft will not break easily and will last a long time.

Cameron really enjoyed playing with the Hovercraft and so did his school friend who came over for tea. It really grabbed their interest and brought out their imaginative play. As the Hovercraft and the Tank can be separate, this allowed both Cameron and his friend to take charge of one of the vehicles. Although you don’t need two people to play and it can be played solo.

In conclusion, Cameron and I think the Chad Valley Hovercraft is a fantastic fun and imaginative toy that provides hours of entertainment for boy boys and girls.

The Chad Valley Hovercraft can be purchased from your local Argos store. It has a RRP of £39.99 but at the time of writing this, it is currently on offer for £24.99.
