Curious George Swings Into Spring // DVD Review

Curious George

Cameron and I were very lucky to be given a Curious George DVD to review.

Curious George Swings into Spring is about a monkey called George who has spring fever. But Curious George doesn’t know what Spring is.

Curious George Swings Into Spring

The man in the yellow hat then explains to Curious George all about spring.

Curious George wants to tell and show his friend Hundley, the lobby dog, all about spring. But Hundley is too busy helping the doorman spring clean the Hotel for a competition.

Disaster strikes and everyone from the hotel has to be evacuated for a few days.

The man in the yellow hat takes Curious George and Hundley off to the countryside for a few days.

Curious George sees the perfect opportunity to cheer up Hundley and teach him all about spring.

If you are a fan of Curious George you will know that nothing ever goes to plan. Hundley finds himself lost in the countryside. How will a city dog cope lost in the countryside?

What will happen next?

Well you will have to watch the DVD to find out.

When I opened the parcel and first saw the DVD, I wasn’t too optimistic.

Cameron doesn’t like Curious George despite his Grampy trying to get him to watch it for the last two years.

I put the DVD on and held my breath, waiting to see what Cameron’s reaction would be.

What did we think?

Cameron absolutely loved it!

He sat there for the whole 54 minutes and watched it!

Since we have had the DVD he has asked to watch it about 5 times and will always go and get me his toy monkey to show me he wants to watch it or do monkey noises.

Overall, I am very impressed with this DVD and is the first DVD that has been able to keep Cameron’s attention.
